Prescription hCG pills are the same in the sense of being made of the same stuff- the real hormone hCG. What’s different though is dosing and absorption. Sublingual absorption (under the tongue) of hCG is really poor, so they have to give you a pill with a lot more hCG in it than if you were injecting it directly into your bloodstream where you get 100% absorption of what you inject.
How much you absorb of that pill will vary based on several factors, and dosage of hCG is also more difficult to reliably change – I always touch on this with these questions because your hCG dosage is the most important factor to the non-hunger effect and often needs to be adjusted.
