Original email for context: I have done the homeopathic version of this diet and I went from 277lbs to 192lbs in 45 days. Yes, 85lbs in 45 days. However, I took the diet for granted and did not properly adhere to phase 3 as I should have. This was 5 years ago and thus I’ve gained the weight back. So reading that the official injections offered through you aren’t offering the results of the homeopathic version also has me a bit apprehensive on trying. I am considering this route due to the fact that I have done the homeopathic version an enormously amount of additional attempts since and it’s getting tougher and tougher to get back down to my weight I seek to be due to hunger pains primarily which result in my stopping and eating. I just stopped and I am down another 32lbs from 294lbs in 20 days on this homeopathic version. Again hunger pains forcing me to stop. 10 drops 3 times a day is getting to me so I am looking at trying the injection version but reading what is offered regarding the amount of weight loss isn’t giving me any security as I know that I lose 2lbs a day now why would I try something that slows my weight loss down drastically resulting in being on the diet twice as long.
Hello! This is a very good question. The weight loss averages I speak of most is for those who are 20-60 lbs overweight. The more weight you have to lose, the higher your average weight loss per day will definitely be in general. I am not sure how tall you are or how many lbs you feel you need to lose in total. It looks like you lost 85 lbs the first time, and I’m not sure if that put you at a “done” point losing weight or not at that time. It looks like your 2nd time around you are starting about 15 lbs higher than before, so that gives you about 100 lbs or so to lose right?
In this case, yes you are correct, you will have a much higher average weight loss per day than others – that goes with injections too. There is really no reason that homeopathic hCG would offer better weight loss than the real hormone – it all just comes down to the current state each person’s body is in.
So you will likely lose at the same rate you have been losing with homeopathic hCG, on injections. What happens is that at you become smaller, your weight loss will eventually slow down – there are several factors that contribute to this, all of which are totally normal/how we are biologically made.
A person who is 300 lbs has a significantly higher metabolism than a person who is 170 lbs – this is because when a person becomes heavier, they do not gain only fat- a portion of their fat gain is actually muscle- it’s required, so that you can carry around the extra fat on your frame as you move around. Also, moving around a larger frame uses more calories than moving around a smaller frame- so thus you burn more calories in a day as a larger person than a smaller person.
This is the ONE bummer of getting smaller lol! You just don’t burn as many calories anymore- but it is normal.
So as you can see then, once you are down 80-100 lbs, let’s say you have maybe 30 lbs left to lose at that point, your weight loss will slow down because your body doesn’t burn as much at that smaller size.
hCG does not substantially increase your metabolism suddenly – that is the only way it would work for a person to burn so many calories in a day so as to burn off 1-2 lbs of fat – that would be 3,500-7,000 calories in one day. The average woman only burns about 1400-1500 calories in a day. If they are fit and have good muscle mass, this may be 2,000. But you can see again how even at 2,000 calories a day burned, and eating 500 each day, it would still take at least 3-4 days to lose 2 lbs of fat – again this is for someone of average weight.
I hope this helps you! So rest assured, at a higher weight you will likely experience more rapid weight loss which is awesome for you as it helps you reach your goal sooner, and then just keep in mind to expect when you reach the lower territories where you will eventually be done, your weight loss will slow, and this is normal and expected. At this point, it’s good to keep our eye on the mental side of weight loss- I have an article on this here.
