There is not a single veggie burger or any tofu! The P3toLife program is actually a high meat protein plan with all the various types of meat- beef, chicken, pork, seafood, turkey – it’s very easy to swap out a meat for another meat if there’s one you can’t access – for things like occasional shrimp we use frozen which is pretty available at most grocery stores. I’d say there’s a pretty even spread of all the types of meat though.
The only thing that might be a bit different when it comes to the proteins for a ranch-y/farm-y girl like yourself is we do use more lean cuts of these meats especially the first few weeks. We need to do this so that we can gradually raise everyone’s calories during that time. Later you can easily start having cuts of meat that contain more fat.
While there’s no potatoes in P3, we do use lots of fresh vegetables and once we get to Week 4 of the meal plan, we do start incorporating small amounts of higher carb veggies like sweet potato mash and such. For family members eating with you, it’s very easy to just cook a side of potatoes or rice or pasta to go with whatever P3toLife meal you are making – I do this all the time for my own skinny guys. ;)- It works just fine for us.
I hope this helps you decide!
