Original email for context: I have always been successful putting half and half in my coffee. I feel like what has caused my weight to go up honestly isn’t wine or half and half. Is it going to kill the deal if i am putting some half and half in my coffee during p3 OR do you recommend something else that i might change to?
I agree with you that you don’t need to sweat a little half and half in your coffee (shhhh, I even used half and half on P2 in my black tea each morning). The reason that dairy outside of butter and nuts aren’t in weeks 1 & 2 of the meal plan in the P3tolife Program isn’t really about intolerance but more that they are calorie dense foods that can easily be overconsumed- so things like low cal nut milks or splashes of cream or half and half I do not see being a problem at all. So yay for that right!
I also think a small amount of sugar free creamer or heavy cream would be fine as well.
