There is a big misunderstanding out there about hCG being illegal. Real hCG hormone is not illegal. You can be prescribed hCG by a doctor legally, which is what these online hCG companies do– they each have their own medical staff of Doctors and Nurse Practioners, and they legally prescribe you your hCG through telehealth means. There are also thousands of weight loss clinics across the globe legally prescribing hCG at their weight loss clinics- just do a google search and you’ll see that easily! The hCG actually comes from FDA regulated compounding pharmacies, so again, totally legal or they wouldn’t allow that!
The illegal misunderstanding came about when several homeopathic hCG drops manufacturers were required to take their product off the market- THIS is what became “illegal” in a sense as the FDA made them remove these products. So this affected homeopathic hCG, not real hCG hormone from compounding pharmacies.
It’s a common misconception here as some of the wording online refers simply to “hCG” as if it means all hCG.
Please see this FDA article about it, and notate that it states, “FDA and FTC are issuing seven joint warning letters to firms marketing over-the-counter (OTC) HCG drug products that are labeled as homeopathic for weight loss…….These unapproved “homeopathic” HCG drug products are marketed OTC on websites and in retail stores, and can be in the form of oral drops, pellets, and sprays.”
As you can see this is speaking specifically of homeopathic hCG, not the real hormone that comes from pharmacies.
