Original email for context: I started with a 40 day round and it has been 2 months since my last day. I’d like to start another round as I have another 30-40 lbs to lose. I’ve read your blogs about loading, and maybe it’s psychological for me, but I really don’t want to gain weight by loading. Do you think I can just start the injections without loading and get the results I want?

ANOTHER email on same topic :): I am getting ready to start round 3. Do I have to do loading days? It’s frustrating to force myself to eat stuff I don’t particularly want to eat, gain weight and take first week on protocol losing it! Has anybody ever just gone from P3 back to P2 without loading?
Ultimately, of course, you can try anything you like! However, from what I’ve seen, the loading phase is really necessary. I have an article on why the loading phase is needed here.
To be honest, I can’t be positive just how imperative the loading days are. There are times people have experimented with skipping it as you suggest, but I have not gotten enough feedback on people doing it at this time to know whether or not it makes a huge difference. One lady I found on youtube at one point who did hCG without loading multiple times and firmly said it was perfectly fine for her, never reached a healthy weight or maintained it, so I am hesitant to trust that input from her. A couple people did mention to me that they were feeling really hungry throughout the diet when they didn’t load, but there could be other reasons for this hunger as well.
So ultimately in my mind, it seems a good idea to do the load to be safe.
That said, I totally get that you don’t want to gain a lot of loading – and I do have a method I’ve used that minimizes the loading gains a lot, especially in subsequent rounds when some people seem to gain quite a few pounds in the 2-3 days – that’s by doing what I call Clean Loading – check the details out, and I hope it helps! With that method, I would typically lose all the loading weight in 1 day, so I was on my merry weight loss way pretty quickly.
