Original email for context: I started my hcg but after 3 days I had a very bad headache and I stopped using hCG since then. Now I want to start again. So, I just wanted to know when would be the best time to start again.
You can re-start the diet anytime you like really since you were only on hCG for a few days. You would just start again all over with loading etc, as if you had never done the diet.
BUT I also have a few suggestions for you to help you get the best start to your round- especially since you mentioned headache/not feeling the best at the start- these tactics can help with that:
- Rather than loading for the diet on anything, consider clean loading. This can reduce or even eliminate these types of symptoms.
- The first few days of the diet a person can sometimes experience electrolyte imbalance and fixing this can greatly reduce symptoms like headache as well. How to fix electrolyte imbalance on hCG.
- Perhaps plan your first couple of VLCD’s on the weekend when you can lay low and not work. Even if you do everything right, many times the transition from regular eating to the hCG diet can be pretty brutal and being able to lay low can really help you get through it.
