I think it’s really helpful to read the manuscript of the Doctor who created this protocol- it gives a lot of insight as how this hormone interacts with your body and why this is different than simply eating a super low calorie diet by itself. I also think it takes some of the fear out of the picture, realizing that this protocol has been in use by qualified medical personnel for 70 years.
I hope this helps you get started! My ultimate motto with this sort of thing is that, definitely do not do this diet unless you become comfortable with the idea. You should always respect yourself and what you feel comfortable proceeding with.
