Original email for context: I did not exercise during P2, but now that I’m starting 3 weeks of P3 and then doing another round, I want to start working out. Specifically, I’d like to run at least 5 days a week around 3-5 miles per run. My intentions are because I used to be a Marathoner and I’d like to start running again, but I’d like to hopefully lose more weight during P3.
You can totally run during Phase 3 – I began to exercise myself a day of P3 most my rounds. But there is one thing you need to know if you do this – you will likely not stabilize in the 2 lb window, and not only is it possible you will not lose weight in P3, you may actually gain- it all makes sense, and you wouldn’t be gaining fat, but please see my detailed article to understand this.
