Original email for context: I am about to start on my 3rd round in two years. I’ve never been able to keep the weight off. My question is regarding injection sites. Does it matter where you are injecting? Is there an absorption difference if there is scar tissue or if you inject in similar areas to earlier rounds? What has been your experience?
Great question! I do actually believe that you want to make sure you are injecting into your fat, and as you get leaner, varying the injection locations can really help with hunger in my experience. So this means that you would definitely want to avoid injecting into scar tissue as well as loose/excess skin.
Here’s why I came to this conclusion- on my final round of hCG, my stomach/belly area was getting pretty lean but I still had what I thought was fat in my belly, so was continuing to inject there. But I found the injection was becoming painful to inject and I was also dealing with more hunger than I had been. I ended up changing my injection location to my deltoid and felt MUCH better that day in regards to hunger, even though I had injected the same dosage. What I realized was that my belly wasn’t so much fat hanging there anymore, but loose skin- so this meant that the injection of hCG wasn’t really getting into my fat but just that loose skin and I think as a result I was absorbing the dosage properly into my bloodstream.
So it does seem that injecting into scar tissue or excess skin may definitely inhibit absorption of your hCG.
I have a good post that will help you see the various injection sites you can use on hCG:
