Most people these days are using what are called subcutaneous needles for their hCG injections, and this delivers the hCG into your fat. So not the skin, but into the fat. This will then be absorbed into your bloodstream. This is different from what’s called an Intramuscular injection, where there is a longer needle that injects into the muscle (below the fat layer) – this too would be absorbed into the bloodstream.
