Typically the way you would know if you are on too much hCG is the symptoms of:
- Abnormal hunger – I discuss what hunger is normal and what isn’t when on hCG in my detailed hCG dosage post.
- Racing heart, palpitations
Those are the 2 main symptoms. If you are feeling fine on the dosage they’ve given you, or have some of the regular initial symptoms that many on hCG have like fatigue or headache, that’s common with everyone regardless of dosage.
.25 ml would be 25 units on the syringe. As far as how much hCG is contained in this though (how many iu’s of hCG are in that 25 units) depends on the ratio of hCG & mixing solution that the clinic used to mix it.
So what I mean is, if your clinic mixed:
A 5,000iu vial of hCG wit 5ml’s of mixing solution, then .2 (20 units) on the syringe = 200ius of hCG dosage.
BUT, if they mixed differently, like:
A 5,000iu vial of hCG with 10mls of mixing solution, then .2 (20 units) on the syringe is NOW actually 100ius of hCG dosage.
So you would need to know the RATIO that your hCG was mixed in by the clinic to calculate.
What I can tell you is that in general, MOST clinics are probably mixing 1:1 ratio (but note: you could definitely call them to ask), which is 1 vial of 5,000iu hCG to 5mls of mixing solution. IF that’s the case you would follow this tutorial here to find your current dosing.
If they mixed in a 2:1 ratio, 5,000iu hCG to 10ml mixing solution, this tutorial will help you find your current dosing.
I would suggest checking with the clinic the ratio of the solution or you can ask them directly how many IUs are there in every XX-unit or xx-ml shot as well.
