Here’s some options for you!
Sticking with Injections
If you’d like to stick with injections while traveling, which when you read the pellets info below, you’ll know which way you’re leaning here’s what can help.
Keeping hCG cold
SMALL INSULIN COOLERS
I found a few different small insulin coolers which would work equally well for vials of hCG – so far based on reviews, the following seem the best choices:
- Insulin Cooler
- Portable Medical Travel Cooler Bag – cuter looking one.
- Fridge-to-Go Medical Travel Cooler – pricier, but excellent Amazon reviews.
These would be good choices for general travel, but especially air travel on planes.
MINI CAR-FRIDGES
The other possibility for land travel/driving would be portable car mini-fridges that plug into your cigarette outlet! Then you can utilize that for other P2 items like protocol foods as well on your trip. These do not need ice! They are literally like little tiny refrigerators, in your vehicle.
Cooluli Mini Car Fridge – 6 can size, 12 can size (meaning like soda cans, but of course you can put whatever you want in it).
In my interview with Lyndsay from Epsidoe 73 she shares how she uses this for protocol eating while traveling a lot for her professional job.
IF YOU’RE LEAVING TOMORROW
If you’re desperate and you’re hopping in the car or on a plane like tomorrow so you don’t have time for Amazon prime to help you, then these are the options you have left to stick with injections.
If you have some gel packs, put them in the freezer tonight and pack your hCG with those in a ziplock bag.
You can also get a cup with ice (say on the plane) to put your vial of hCG in. It’s totally been done! (You might need refills though)
QUICK NOTE ABOUT HCG AND TRAVELING
Many ladies who’ve done the diet recommend (and I would personally recommend it, too!) doing the hCG when there are no holidays and vacations. hCG is a very strict diet and the success of it lies on how strictly you can follow it. Juuuuussst throwing that out there. If there’s no way out of it, certainly you can succeed, it’s just a bit more challenging. You can check out my interview with Vicki from Episode 36 who travels for work and hear her great eating on P2 tips while traveling.
Choosing Pellets for Travel
This is definitely an option and 2 of the companies offer a small number of days of pellets that you can buy separately for just this purpose, while on a round of injections. Diet Doc has this option- if you scroll down on the main sales page, you’ll see a “2 weeks Tablets” option that you can purchase by itself or along with your injections kit. Nu Image offers this too but you have to call them they don’t have it offered on the site.
I have a detailed post on Pellets to help you decide if that’s the route you want to go.
I hope that helps with your decision!
