Original email for context: I have every female hormonal problem which keeps me overweight. My problem is I can’t keep on the HCG longer than 2 weeks because it gives me cramps in my ovaries and make me spot dark blood for weeks. I’ve tried 3 different types of injections, tablets and drops and they all do the same thing. Am I doing something wrong? Or am I allergic to HCG? I found that the B12 injections creates hard bumps at the injection site later that last a few weeks. Is this normal? I got these from two different sources as well with same issues.
I’m so sorry this is happening! On a rare occasions we do hear of women having similar problems to you but usually this is not for weeks on end like you are experiencing. I have absolutely no idea the cause, but this definitely doesn’t sound like a good thing to me and you probably want to check with your doctor, and weigh things out as to whether this is something you should continue doing or not at this time. Health first before hCG you know?
If I were to make a guess at what is going on, and again I really don’t know, but my guess would be that your current various hormone levels are such that the added hCG is throwing something off even more. While you wouldn’t be allergic to hCG itself since hCG is a hormone every woman’s body actually produces, it is possible that the levels of hCG your body is already producing, adding more may be creating more imbalance. Sometimes a person can be allergic to the fillers that the hCG is made with, but typically those types of symptoms would be more allergy types ones (breaking out, redness, itchiness etc). Your symptoms sound more like a hormonal reaction to me.
There may be a time in the future when this is rectified for you through other health measures and in the future it may be okay, but I definitely agree this is not something to take lightly.
I’m sorry I don’t know more!
