For a long time, I was buying my own T3 medication online from Mexico. The trouble is, the main quality manufacturer in Mexico – called Grossman – I don’t know what’s happened – but it has not been available online for much of the past 4-5 years. I saw it come back briefly at one place I used to buy it and was able to get some for my mom, but then it was gone again- so I will give you both the links where you SHOULD be able to get it WHEN it’s available, as well as a few keywords do to additional hunting when you can’t find.
So THIS is where I always purchased my T3 before- you want to search specifically “Cynomel” in that sites search box – the mexican brand of t3. At the time of this writing, they don’t currently have it or I’d give you a specific link to the actual product – WHEN they do have it- they often have a listing for 1 bottle, or a pack of 3 bottles- obviously the 3 pack is much cheaper per pill and if you know you will definitely be taking I’d recommend getting that (also because if you happen to get you have no idea when it will be available again!).
Here is a 2nd mexican source for t3 as well (but currently they only have the Tryotex brand of t3 in 75mcg capsules- more in that in a minute).
Keywords to search for:
(buy): T3, Cytomel, Cynomel, Grossman cynomel, online mexican pharmacy, liothyronine (generic name of t3)
Cytomel is a common namebrand of quality t3, and Cynomel (with n) is the mexican version of cytomel. That’s what I used to take and it worked GREAT.
Ideally you want to find tablets that come in 25mcg per tablet or less – because it’s strong stuff, these 75mcg capsules just will not do for the average person and I personally think it would be dangerous to do that. The 25mcg tablet I am able to split in half and quarters as needed.
There are some other brands out there but they do not come in deal dosages per pellet and I have not read good reviews about them either – these are call Tryotex, Tiromel, and Tertroxin.
Cynomel is really the only off-brand T3 that I know to be of reliable quality that most people online agree works well. Here is a post that shows what some of these brands of bottles look like so you can see what you’re looking for online.
THAT said, while it’s nice to be able to find something like this without a prescription, if you can’t, there are also all sorts of ONLINE naturopathic and open-minded doctors whom you can be a patient of online that will probably have no issue prescribing you T3 – so definitely think about that idea if you can’t find a local doctor who will do that for you.
I do not know if these sources prescribe T3 but I did find a few online hypothyroidism focused treatment places you could look into:

I also found a thyroid doctors directory, compiled by an author on a very good book about thyroid disorders- so presumably these thyroid doctors would be ones who know T4 meds are not the best for many:

This is a post by a woman with lots of various resources for finding a good thyroid doc.
I hope that helps you find what you need!
