Original email for context: Why am I so dizzy on hCG? I feel like blood sugar low…have checked blood pressure is good…I have practiced intermittent fasting for the last 7 months and never had this dizzy, light-headed blood sugar feeling…but today is p2 day4 (have felt this since the night of day 1 and no matter what can’t shake the feeling…have tried having broth in case low sodium…any suggestions?
Yikes, I’m sorry to hear this! There are a couple possibilities for this- one could be low blood sugar, as you suggested – I experienced this on hCG before myself when I wasn’t eating the fruits on P2 – and I wasn’t just guessing it was low, I have a blood sugar meter and it WAS low- it was like in the low 70’s!
I found for myself that this was actually a dosage issue surprisingly – it’s possible that a slight dosage change might change how you feel in the morning. For me, when I adjusted my hCG dosage, my feeling of low blood sugar went away. My post on hCG dosage and help adjusting that is here. Especially if you happen to be on a higher dosing that many clinics administer like 200iu or 250 iu (often the vial will say to go to the 20 or the 25 on the syringe), I would highly suspect this as a cause.
The other thing is sometimes people just feel weaker on hCG and if they have a lot to do in life- work/etc. it can be more taxing than usual.
If a dosage change doesn’t help it, then eating a small portion of something every 2-3 hours may probably help? You can try and observe. I’m not sure this helps, but at least perhaps something to try out.
