Original email for context: I know you started Crossfit in p3. How did you do that while still slowly upping your calories? My main concern is not enough calories and all the calorie burn from exercise causing my adrenals and thyroid to worsen.
I’m thinking if you’ve had trouble in the past, what do you think about waiting just 3 more weeks while doing P3tolife to incorporate exercise again? Or even 2 weeks actually would be fine- by week 3 the calories on P3tolife would now be high enough to support your exercise and at that point you could always add in an extra protein shake if need be. I agree that doing crossfit the first couple weeks of P3 on the lower calories may present a problem.
My actual experience when I did P3 won’t really help you because I didn’t actually introduce calories slowly and I had to do steak days and such and it wasn’t like this nice neat structured thing the way the P3tolife program is.
