This is becoming quite popular. I’m not against it, but from what I’ve seen, in general, when you are on a good dose of hCG for you personally- all the details on hCG dosage here, I haven’t seen an 800 calorie protocol to be necessary really.
The main time that this doesn’t apply, is when a person has very little weight to lose- as I discuss in that dosage post above, when a person is leaner, a person may need to increase their calorie intake on hCG in order to feel comfortable enough on the diet, but even then, this process can usually be taken on a day to day basis, increasing as needed, vs. just a flat out 800 calories. My final 5th round of hCG, as I was getting quite small, I did find myself needing to do this. Some days I needed more like 700-800 calories, but then other days I was still less hungry and on those days I went back to more like 500 – just as needed.
In the end though I totally respects each person’s decision, and some do claim they like doing the diet better at the 800 calorie level, and it’s certainly not wrong to do so.
As a “pro” to doing the 800 cals, one of my hCG diet interviews is with Adele from Episode 73 who utilized an 800-1000 calorie protocol hCG and did very well and she really really like it for multiple reasons you can review!
