Original email: Hi I’m on my second round of HCG, Im vegetarian and am being super good but I’m 3 weeks in and have only lost 4 lbs. The guys I do the diet through have little experience with veggies and feel they can’t help any further – can you suggest what I need to do? I’ve tried apple days etc…I have lost 2 lbs shy of 3 stone but fluctuate 2 lbs almost daily, I’m getting quite stressed with it as im being so good, no body oils etc…and wanted to get into the 9 stone range but its not happening. Any advice?
I’m sorry you’re struggling! Doing the hCG Diet as a vegetarian can be challenging because many vegetarian protein sources are also higher in carbs and getting enough protein just simply involves eating more calories, something we are very short on during the hCG diet!
