Original email for context: Hi!! I’ve been on a 3 day stall at .125. I have 7 pounds to go. Should I increase dosage? Will that help?
Are you feeling hungry on your current dosage? If so, then it’s possible that changing your dosage may help with the weight loss as well – but if you are not hungry on your current dosage, then a dosage change is unlikely to change anything about your current weight loss pattern. Also it’s a common misunderstanding that adding more hCG will equate to more weight loss- this isn’t true. The best weight loss typically happens when you are the best unique dosage for YOU where you are experiencing the least hunger – higher dosings for many women actually cause excessive hunger and don’t add any benefit of additional weight loss, so that all you’re left with is being more miserable on the diet.

Stalls on hCG – troubleshooting them.
One last thing I’ll add here is that a 3 day stall is very common and unavoidable for most- this is just standard procedure and most likely will work itself out soon without any intervention. If you look at your pattern of weight loss since you started the diet, no doubt you have some exceptionally high weight loss days right? Like 1 lb or 1.5 or 1.8 lbs overnight? These tend to be balanced out with zero days, .2 days, and the like so that the average weight loss for women works out to about .5 lb/day by the end. But my Stalls series will still help you if you want to try troubleshooting some possible causes.
