Some consider using tofu for a meat protein because they are vegan or vegetarian, or because they are sick of meat.
You can utilize Tofu on hCG- I have a more detailed help hub article on this here that will help with multiple options:
Alternative protein sources for vegans and vegetarians on the hCG Diet
I discuss more there, but if you use Tofu to replace a P2 protein serving, you’ll want to eat enough tofu to equal 100-140 calories. That’s per serving. So if you did that twice a day for your 2 protein servings, you would double that for the total for the day. This is because 100-140 calories is how many calories there are in the P2 meat protein portions from the various meats allowed on P2 (from shrimp to chicken to beef etc).
This is if you are on the 500 calorie protocol. If you are doing a higher 700-800 calorie protocol, you’ll be adding a 3rd protein serving for the day most likely, in which case you could add one more serving of the same size.
