I understand the question since many ladies do make modifications to the original hCG diet rules with success. However, in this case, it’s not something you can get away with usually. I know this is kind of a bummer but keeping no alcohol on P2 is definitely best – this includes wine, beer, spritzers, vodka and other spirits. The few ladies who have emailed me asking and who decided to experiment with it- even by having some form of super low carb drink like potato vodka or something, wrote back to tell me the experiment did not go well and they gained or stalled the following day or days.
So that said, what CAN you drink in the social situations you are probably thinking about when asking this question?
Here’s a couple ideas:
- Sparkling water in a wine or champagne glass (I’m sure you could even ask for this at a restaurant
- Have some hot tea instead
