Dandyblend has 5 calories per tsp, so I think it’s totally a go on P2 of the hCG Diet personally. I typically used about 1 tbsp in 1 drink when I’ve used it so that’s only about 15 calories and 3 carbs.
They have Dandyblend on Amazon!
- Large 2 lb pouch
- 25 single serve “sticks” this would be great for keeping in purse while out and about.
But also check out an alternative to Dandyblend below that has no calories!
FYI IF YOU ARE GLUTEN FREE
I used to LOVE Dandyblend myself. Such a yummy roasted flavor. I think now even though it SAYS it’s gluten free, apparently however they processed the malted barley (which is a gluten-containing grain) wasn’t gluten-free enough for me because it messed with my digestion once I was gluten-free.
GLUTEN FREE ALTERNATIVE
But I have found a replacement that’s almost as good!
Organic Roasted Dandelion Root tea
This doesn’t have any of the grain stuff in it, just roasted dandelion root and that doesn’t bother me at all. I actually buy it in the 6-pack box since I drink it so much. Even better since it’s missing the grain aspect, there’s really no calories in it like any other tea so you can drink more of it.
The other pretty cool benefit to dandelion root is that it’s a detoxifier – but watch out- I actually found that drinking too much during the day could make me very tired and I think perhaps it’s promoting detox? I have no idea but I learned to be careful with how much I drink of it if I need to have energy.
