Actually, I am familiar with Herbalife and I have used it previously to lose weight without hCG. It’s good that it does not have added sugars but what could be missing is that a serving does not have enough protein. If I remember correctly, each serving has 8g of protein? Whereas the 100g of lean chicken breast has around 24g of protein – which is very important during P2, as we don’t want to lose muscle as we lose weight with a 500-calorie protocol!
But there are many women turning on to protein powders during P2 and still lose weight. Though most of them are using high-protein powders (like each serving has over 20g of protein) and of course, sugar, low-carb and grain-free.
