I looked this up- it sounded so promising! But if you read the reviews on the product – check out this one Bochasweet on Amazon – multiple people described severe gastric distress with this- I think this is best avoided. It does say it tastes the most like sugar of anything they’d tried and 1 person mentioned it had no effect on her husband’s diabetic blood sugar levels, but the gastric distress problems reported by so many seem to make it not worth it to me.
That said, other reviews loved it and one person felt that your GI tract gets use to it after a bit, so perhaps the gastric distress would go away. I think for anyone with sensitive digestion or colitis, crohns, or issues with digesting already this seems likely an unwise idea.
Ultimately though on the whole the Bochasweet seems like, in small amounts just like we use other sugar free sweeteners, that this would likely be fine to use on P2.
